What is individual therapy and how can it help me?
Individual therapy, also known as talk therapy or counseling, is a place where you come when you are dealing with a specific problem that you feel cannot be addressed on your own. A therapist's role is to help you reach your goals by carefully listening and asking good questions. These questions are meant to help you develop a greater sense of understanding of yourself and the issue/concern that you're coming to therapy for.
Can therapy help with anxiety, stress and depression?
After developing this understanding, you can choose to accept that or then work toward change. A therapist can help to support you through that process. In a nutshell, therapy is about exploring, understanding, and changing.
